Plans we’re in-network with

We participate with most major dental insurance plans, including Delta Dental, Cigna, and United Concordia, among others. If you’re not sure whether your plan is in-network with us, just give us a call at 540-418-0825 with your card handy and we’ll check in a minute.

If we’re not in-network

Most patients with dental insurance can still see us — many plans simply reimburse at a slightly different rate when their provider is out-of-network. We file the claim, the insurance company sends payment, and you’re responsible for the difference. We’ll quote you a clear estimate before any treatment begins.

What we can verify before your visit

• Frequency limits on cleanings, x-rays, and other services
• Coverage percentages for preventive, basic, and major care
• Orthodontic benefits if you’re considering Invisalign

Bring your insurance card and a member ID, or send a photo ahead of time and we’ll do the homework before you arrive.

No insurance? You have a great option

The Virginia Dental Club is a membership plan we created specifically for patients without dental insurance. For one annual fee, you get cleanings, exams, and x-rays, plus meaningful discounts on every other treatment. For many patients in Culpeper, it costs less than insurance and covers more.

Honest billing

You’ll never get a surprise bill at our office. Before any significant treatment, we walk you through what your insurance will cover, what your portion will be, and what payment options you have. We’d rather take ten extra minutes at the front desk than catch you off guard.
