What to expect

Plan on about an hour. We’ll have you fill out paperwork (or bring it pre-completed from our forms page), take a few digital x-rays, and do a comprehensive exam. Dr. Sanie will go over what he sees with you on a screen, listen to any concerns, and lay out a clear plan with priorities and pricing — yours to take home.

What to bring

• Your insurance card, if you have dental coverage
• A list of any medications you’re taking
• Any previous dental x-rays from another office (the front desk can email or transfer these for you)
• Names of any other doctors who care for you
• Notes on what you’d like us to know — anxiety, sensitive teeth, anything that hasn’t worked at past dentists

Patients under 18 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If you have medical conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, or artificial heart valves, please let us know when you book.

A few things we don’t do

• We don’t pressure you into treatment. Ever. You’ll leave with information, not an aggressive sales pitch.
• We don’t shame you for being overdue. Whether your last cleaning was six months ago or six years ago, you’re welcome here.
• We don’t rush. If you have questions, we have time.

If you’re anxious about the dentist

You’re not alone — and we hear it often. Tell us at booking, and we’ll plan extra time, talk you through everything before we do it, and offer nitrous oxide if you’d like a calmer visit. Plenty of patients who’d avoided dentists for years have come to us and are now back on a six-month rhythm.

Same-day treatment when possible

If you have a small concern that can be addressed on the same day as your exam, we’ll often offer to take care of it then — saving you a return trip. Larger work is scheduled for follow-up visits at your convenience.
