How All-on-4 works

Four titanium implants are strategically placed in your upper or lower jaw — angled to take advantage of the strongest bone available. A custom full-arch bridge is then attached on top. The result is a fixed set of teeth that doesn’t come out, doesn’t slip, and lets you eat and laugh without the worries that come with a traditional denture.

What planning looks like

Dr. Sanie starts with a comprehensive consultation, photos, and a 3D CBCT scan to evaluate your bone and plan implant positions to the millimeter. For some patients with significant bone loss, a small graft may be needed first — for many, the angled placement of All-on-4 makes that unnecessary.

What surgery day involves

Most All-on-4 cases involve one surgical visit during which any remaining failing teeth are removed, the four implants are placed, and a temporary set of teeth is attached the same day. You leave with a smile. Over the next several months the implants fuse with bone, and a final, custom-crafted bridge is attached.

Recovery and life afterward

Most patients return to normal activities within a few days, eating soft foods initially and graduating to a regular diet as healing progresses. Long-term care involves brushing the bridge like teeth, using a water flosser to clean under it, and seeing us for cleanings every six months.
